Why Do They Do That? Understanding Symptoms and Situations of Dementia
This webinar, hosted by occupational therapist and dementia care specialist, Teepa Snow, is designed to help attendees better understand why people living with dementia may sometimes say or do things that are unexpected and/or challenging. It will focus on understanding the many changes that occur in the brain during the progression of the condition and will emphasize the role that care partners' reactions and responses play in interactions with those living with dementia. The session will then introduce attendees to practical techniques and approaches to improve care interactions.
